Social and Emotional Development: We promote social skills, empathy, and emotional well-being through a variety of engaging group activities. Children participate in role-playing scenarios that help them practice expressing their feelings and resolving conflicts. Regular discussions encourage them to share their thoughts and experiences, fostering positive relationships with both peers and adults. We create a nurturing environment where children learn to recognize and manage their emotions, building the foundation for strong social interactions
Reading Activities:
Storytime Sessions:
We hold daily Storytime sessions where children listen to a variety of books, from classic tales to diverse stories from different cultures.
Interactive Reading:
Children participate in interactive reading sessions, where they can engage with the text through questions, discussions, and related activities. We incorporate props and visuals to make the stories come alive, helping children to better understand the narrative.
Literacy:
Literacy activities include phonics games, sight word recognition, and letter matching. These centers allow children to explore reading at their own pace and interest, promoting independence and a love for learning.
Creative Storytelling:
We encourage children to create their own stories using pictures, puppets, or storytelling stones. This activity fosters creativity and helps them understand narrative structure.
Snap Circuits: We teach kids about electrical circuits using snap circuits. Together, we build projects like FM radios, digital voice recorders, AM radios, alarms, doorbells, and much more.
Piano: We offer private piano classes for kids to explore the world of Tchaikovsky and Mozart. Join us to discover the joy of music and learn to play beautiful pieces. Short video of our student: Concert at UW Women's Center Washington
Drawing: Join us for drawing classes led by our wonderful Victoria art instructor. We will explore different techniques and have fun expressing our creativity through art. Check out projects: Viktoriia Nikitina (@domino_art.s) • Instagram photos and videos
STEM Activities: Building forts and tunnels, creating DIY projects, conducting various science experiments. More info coming...
Science and Discovery: We encourage curiosity and exploration through various science experiments, nature walks, and sensory activities. Children engage in hands-on experiments that spark their interest in the scientific method, allowing them to observe, hypothesize, and discover. Our belief in experiential learning is complemented by exciting field trips to local museums, parks, zoos, where our little explorers can interact with the world around them. These outings provide valuable opportunities for children to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences, deepening their understanding of nature and science.
Mathematics: Our curriculum incorporates Singapore Math concepts through hands-on activities and games. We focus on number recognition, counting, shapes, patterns, measurement, and problem-solving skills. Children engage with large building fort blocks from getsuperspace.com, allowing them to unleash their creativity while learning. These versatile blocks encourage teamwork and collaboration as kids work together to design and construct their dream forts, reinforcing mathematical concepts through play.
